Sensor Questions

heyo
Was curious if FIRST was limiting us to the use of only the provided sensors for this year.. i know the ammount is unlimited, but was unclear if we are restricted to only the model/kind of sensor included with the kit

I think you can use as many as is possible, that is the number of I/O's is limited. The robots at kick of had as many as 7 I think.

no, im talking about types of sensors.. can i use for example.. proximity sensors or something simalar?
