FRC Hands on Workshop in San Diego
Hello San Diego FIRST FRC and FTC Teams!
Solar Turbines and 3DConnexion is proud to host a PTC’s hands-on Product Development Workshop. The workshop is an intense one-day workshop designed to teach FIRST teams, mentors and coaches about the real world product development process. Emphasis is given to hands-on exercises that will prepare the entire team to understand and implement a product development process for their robot design. It will also help develop team-building, entrepreneurship and design skills. Given the time frame, attendees will not acquire all the skills to master the concepts in just one day. Resources will be made available for further online training. This workshop is appropriate for both FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Robotics teams. There is room for the first 50 people that register. You may provide your own laptop computer (sorry, no desktops.) Student provided laptops may be loaded with the class software by visiting www.ptc.com/go/firstgettingstarted and installing Creo 2.0 and Mathcad. There will be up to 36 laptop computers available for students and mentors to use, also available on a first registered, first served basis. Laptops are requested through the survey link below as part of the registration process.
