Advice with Sponsors?

We have been doing this fundraising approach since our first year in 2005 and have had great success with it. I would modify that letter a bit so you can use it with both corporate and local companies. We send our kids out with the attached that they can take when they go to restaurants, shops, etc, even to drum up donations for our calendar.

We actually have a separate one for local companies and family/friends.

Also, I recommend beginning the letter with information about your team, who you are, and what you do, how well you did last season, etc. THEN, ask if the company is able to assist you. If possible, make the letter usable for both large corporations and small, local businesses (as mentioned before me). If you'd like, I can send your our team's sponsor letter to give you an idea.
