That's almost matches the total teams (1808) in 2010.

The team from Brazil that's "missing" (so far) lost its local J&J sponsorship and is very close to really having to drop out. I traded PMs with their lead mentor, urging him to ask for ideas here on CD, so I hope we get to see that soon.

Assuming they registered elsewhere, it is a common tactic to not sign up first for a regional that you're pretty sure you'll get in for second registration

But 1482 isn't registered for a 2013 regional and has only ever attended one per year.

4334 is currently registered for the now-full Seattle Regional.
