This was a great opportunity to talk with the senator. We could tell he really "got" what FIRST and STEM are really about! He also checked out Kennedy's PLTW program and chopper class, but went way over the scheduled time with us because he was so engaged!

It was truly a great experience. It was during the school day so the whole team couldn't be there, but it was still amazing. He really "gets it".
