Question about Symbol

Hi guys,
So I was looking at tutorial on how to program mecanum wheels, and I ran into a screenshot that confused me. The screenshot is attached to the post.
I understand most of it, but what is the blue arrow in the middle of the case structure? And how do I insert it into my own program?
Thanks,
cdizzle

Re: Question about Symbol

The comments below are Edited from LabVIEW Help.

Feedback Node

Stores data from one VI execution or loop iteration to the next.

The node automatically appears when you wire the output of a subVI, function, or group of subVIs or functions to the input of that same VI, function, or group.

PS. It won't always be blue. The color depends on the data type.

Re: Question about Symbol

It's found in the menus under Programming->Structures
It's menu icon is just the arrow, but the rest appears when you drop it on a Block Diagram.

Re: Question about Symbol

Thanks! As you can tell, I'm pretty new to LabView, and I do have one more question:
When i create a global variable, it creates a new VI along with it, how do I get it so that all my global variables refer to one VI?

Once again, thank you for your help!

Re: Question about Symbol

A global variable creates only a front panel. All you have to do is right click and add all the indicators you want onto the front panel of the global variable, then you can label all of your indicators from one global variable instead of using a separate global variable for each input/output.

Re: Question about Symbol

This tutorial might help with creating global variables.
Tommy gave you the basics involved.
