2013 Midwest Regional

Midwest is shaping up to be a great regional! (as usual)

Some interesting points:

-Unfortunately Bomb Squad will not be attending this year. This will be the first time since the 2007 season that 16 will not be attending Midwest.

-Only 3 Wisconsin teams (1675, 2194, 3197), a relatively low number. Among the absent WI teams this year are 1732 and 2826.

-No Texas teams this year (we had 118 in 2011 and 148 in 2012

-3 teams from Turkey!!!

Should be a great ending to the "regular season" in Week 6.

-Nick

Re: 2013 Midwest Regional

I thought I would revive this thread as Midwest is quickly approaching. 2338 is really looking forward to attending this year.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are only 2 teams attending that can force a wild card, right? (111, and 2338)

Re: 2013 Midwest Regional

As far as I am aware, there are 3 teams competing at Midwest Regional who could force a wild card: 2338 (Gear it Forward), 111 (Wildstang), and 3061 (Huskie Robotics). 3061 won at the Northern Lights Regional along with 525 (Swartdogs) and 2169 (King Tec) in week 2.
