That may not be the case if it's presented differently to the powers that be. It's Las Vegas. I seriously doubt a (moderately funded) team would have lower than a 2:1 adult:student ratio, so convincing a school district there will be plenty of chaperones is easy. When we went in 2007, there were 17 adults for 7 kids. Not only was the competition a blast, I hardly slept.

That may work in the beginning of the meeting but you would still have to tell them where exactly they would be going. lol
