Missing MAR Teams

Does anyone know what happened to the following five MAR teams? They aren't registered for any events in the district and I was wondering if it was due to something we could all help with.

1881
3553
4128
4347
4361

Re: Missing MAR Teams

I am very surprised to see that 1881 hasn't registered for this year. They demoed their 2012 robot at the NJ Science and Engineering Expo at Clifton High School last month, and didn't seem like they had any thoughts of ending their team.

Re: Missing MAR Teams

I can get in touch with 1881 and see what's up. 3553 will not be competing again.

That's disappointing that 3553 is folding their tent. I hate seeing any teams disappear. Is it safe to ask why 3553 is ending?

Partially because of politics that shouldn't be gotten into and partially because at Chestnut Hill last year one of their students had a "break down" at the end of the first day and their teacher decided to end the program for good. I was on MOEbile pit scheduled to help them, they never showed up the second day. :/

Thank you for adding this in here Siri! We'll be sending out emails (formally to all MAR teams) to wrap up mentor team/rookie team pairing. Feel free to message me directly to express any interest ahead of time.

We have a lot of great rookies coming on this year!
