I'd rather be well-known for what I do, not for a caricature of something that I'm not even all that excited about.

I saw one orange flashy light apparently showing "waiting for connection", but I couldn't recognize a FRC robot holding it. The darkness at the end of the video makes it very hard to see anything. I just barely recognized the "Star Trek guy" as Data, and only because of about three frames of a distinctive robotic head motion just as the teleporter effect fades out.

Another interesting note is that the guy who drove our 2011 robot for this commercial was one of the builders of the original Johnny 5 robots in the movie Short Circuit.

Okay, I must know. Was it actually Brent Spiner there as Data? (or, as it would seem, more affectionately referred to in this thread as "The Star Trek Guy") Because that would be amazing, although I doubt it was actually him. (sorry, geek moment )
