Bosch Gearbox. . . High or Low Gear

Does anyone have any advice on which gear(high or low) you should design a drive system? We plan on using 1 speed. I do realize the low gear is more efficient than the high gear(97% vs. 92%) but reading one of the "White Papers " on last year's gear box, there was procedure describing a spacer ring that could be placed in the gear box locking it in high gear. Does the same concept hold true for this years gearbox? If so, I guess its. . . high gear?
