Connecting two java programs with a Ethernet cord

I'd recommend making a SmartDashboard plugin to serve your needs, and use Networktables/Networktables2 to pass the data. That way you really don't even need to bother with handling TCP/UDP directly.

What are you doing with the data at either end?
