Don't forget there is no Website Award anymore, but there is the shiny new Digital Media Award! It looks like you are already off to a good start in terms of your outreach via social media.

A few things: I'd move away from Times New Roman in article/page text, it detracts from an otherwise modern-looking site. Try @font-face in CSS to import custom fonts of your choice.

Consider using AJAX to load page content dynamically without reloading the whole site - there are probably Drupal plugins available that can set this up with a few clicks!

looking good so far. GO back and proof your contest. I have a few typos skimming your pages. The one I remember is "regional" on the awards page is spelled wrong.

I particularly love the game logos under your banner-- one thing to check on that, however, is the FIRST guidelines for usage of their logos. At least for the primary FRC and FIRST logos, they explicitly say that you cannot alter them (FIRST Brand Guidelines). It doesn't appear that you have an issue on those, but that may also apply to game logos-- I couldn't find anything on their site regarding altering game logos, but it is possible that that may be an issue.

That said, I wouldn't really worry about that, because I've never heard of FIRST really cracking down on people that mess up their logos (then again this may be because it doesn't really happen).

As David said, the Times New Roman font is really out of place on your design-- the site is very modern, which typically calls for a sans-serif font.

Another small issue would be at the bottom of the page-- your school's address/info clashes right up against the team logo, which doesn't have the same background color as the rest of the site to begin with. This is a minor detail, but it detracts a little bit from the site. This could really be fixed just by changing the background color to being transparent with your graphics program of choice. That would remove the weird alignment thingy.

And, as already mentioned, there are some small grammar/spelling errors around the site-- one I noticed in particular was "Hall of Famers:Team 1114." That's another small thing, though.

Overall, it has a pretty sleek look, with a cohesive color palette and a usable design. Good job!

The media section does not work for me (chrome, version 23). Also, in the history section, there are sections about many different years, but all of the images are from this past year. The images should match the text that is surrounding them.
