it definitely depends on the regional- last year at Drexel University food was allowed, but at VCU they prohibited it..
I even remember how on the last day of VCU two other guys and I decided to grab some food for the 6 hour bus ride back.. One security guard caught us bringing the bags in and refused to let us go any further with the bags.. We had to stow them under some tables at the entrance.. Five minutes later I just went back when she wasn't looking and grabbed them.. You can't blame me for doing something wrong- they wanted us to buy from the snack bar but there wasn't any drinks or edible food..
