Maybe belt drive will be mandatory this year just like the hard wheels were required for Lunacy.

Although, missing dinner sounds more like a "refueling station", also from Lunacy. Not "refueling" could also prevent certain actions during the game.
If a belt drive was mandatory than they wouldn't have let veterans opt out of the kit bot.

I'm stool skeptical on the translation produced...

Really?? Shouldn't veteran teams know not to purchase all their materials prior to Kickoff? Shouldn't they be able to build belt drives even after Kickoff?

Check out this cute seal, kissing a ball, standing on his 2 flippers, like a balancing iBot.

I wouldn't say he was kissing the ball, but I like the literal interpretation of Seal.
I think there's more to work with here.

Perhaps the game piece is a ball that "missed dinner" and has holes in it.

Re: 2013 ACTUAL game hint!!!

Going a different route, if you assume it is in decimal and convert that to ASCII you get:

Code:
 , 憞
ៜ ⧍
 飼, 趞
禽 ꚅ
Put that through Google Translate you get:

Code:
? , Dun
ៜ ⧍
? Feeding, Qi
Poultry ꚅ

Re: 2013 ACTUAL game hint!!!

So we looked up the seal song and at the the minute mark the words are "if I should fall along the way baby"

In combination with the Rick astley 3 mins this is very interesting. "never gonna let you down"

It's not such buying material before kick off but is the fact many veteran teams prototype drives before season. And the voucher allows for buying material that doesn't help with belt drive. Meaning we would have another one of the "we have to buy belts and count it on our BOM whereas other teams didn't" sort of deal

The same issue occurred with Lunacy and every team that bought wheels prior to Kickoff. Why couldn't that approach apply this year?

Note the "30"" max dimension on the KOP drive base. Typo or legit? Smaller drive bases possibly? I know I'm not the first to mention this.

Unless the new Belt drive base is design slightly different. Maybe has belt tensioners built into the front and back rails. Instead of 1" c-channels maybe they are 3.5" pieces.

Hint 1 - Rick Astley chorus - 'Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down'

Today - Expedition 31 launched and if you notice the 1st video listed is 'Science of the sphere: Yo-Yos in Space'

Yo-yos go up and down and are round...

Thoughts?
