FIRST on Class Rings

I just got my gorgeous class ring today, with an amazing FIRST prideside.

I was wondering if anyone else on CD got a class ring with the FIRST logo on it!

Re: FIRST on Class Rings

I would have definitely gotten a class ring back when I was a junior in HS if I had the option of putting FIRST on it! Looks awesome.

Re: FIRST on Class Rings

I know at least a few 1126 students (now alumni) have had the FIRST logo engraved on their class rings. I thought I even heard of someone getting the team logo on it, but I'm not sure if that's correct...

Re: FIRST on Class Rings

I am a senior member this year and I myself have the logo on my class ring. Best part of the whole ring if you ask me! sorry I don't have a picture of it on me right now.

I've got FIRST on my class ring, too. The guy from the company that makes them says I was the first one he's seen to do it.

Re: FIRST on Class Rings

I got my class ring 2 years ago and also put the FIRST logo on it as well as team name and number. I got my ring through Jostens and was thrilled to see that they had the FIRST logo available!

Re: FIRST on Class Rings

6 years ago when I was a sophomore(that's when my school does class rings) Herf Jones did not do the FIRST Logo no matter how much I begged. There was only one jeweler that did and they were located in Oklahoma if I remember correctly. When I called to inquire about it they tried to talk me out of it. So needless to say I never got a class ring.

If it had been available I definately would have purchased one. We are looking into getting one for my bother with that logo currently. So neat that FIRST has made that big of a presence in the outside community that this is one of the sides that is available now for high school students.

Re: FIRST on Class Rings

Back when I got my class ring, the FIRST symbol was not available. I do have Robotics and 306 on it though. I have been thinking about one day getting a new one made with it.

Re: FIRST on Class Rings

I could not get the FIRST Logo on mine

this is my fault though because it was the year i didn't meet the grade requirements so my mom wouldn't let me get it on my ring

Myself and one other student were able to get our team logo engraved on our class rings from Balfour back in 2006, a picture and discussion of it are in this old thread:

http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/26092

The best part was that the custom design was free, it just took a few extra weeks to make.

If they had offered the FIRST logo to our school back then we probably would have gotten it, in retrospect I'm kind of glad they didn't though because having that custom team logo is just plain cool.

Re: FIRST on Class Rings

My class ring has FIRST on it too! I was so happy when I saw it, I was worried I wasn't going to be able to represent the most important part of my extra-curricular life!
