Can Frisbees come back into play?

I was wondering if the frisbees have any way of coming back into play after being scored. I so far have not seen any rule specifically depicting how they would come back into play, but I'm still not certain. Per the diagrams, it appears extremely unlikely that the middle and high goal frisbees could be put back into play, but since the rules get a little nebulous here, I'm not as sure that the low goal frisbees cannot be put back into play.

Thanks,
-Duke

Re: Can Frisbees come back into play?

As per the definition of "scored," I would say no. Discs are only scored if they are in the goal at the end of the match. Conceivably, they could bounce out and come back into play, but you probably don't want that to happen.

Quote:
SCORED: A DISC is considered SCORED in an ALLIANCE’S GOAL if any part of the DISC has crossed through the opening of the GOAL, is in the GOAL at the end of the MATCH, and the DISC is not in contact with any ROBOT from that ALLIANCE. Additionally, for a DISC to be considered SCORED in an ALLIANCE’S PYRAMID GOAL, it must correspond to the PYRAMID color.

That would answer the question! Thanks!

Was about to make a thread on this very topic.

It seems this year that we have a finite number of game pieces.

I think that in addition to the end of match scoring, the size of the goals is also going to be a limiter. I haven't done any math, scoured the field drawings, or seen a goal in real life, but I can imagine the goals getting full enough to bounce additional frisbees out fairly quickly.

No, once a disc is scored, it is out of play.

Re: Can Frisbees come back into play?

what about frisbees that leave the field and hit the net? It would appear that they aren't put back in play. Also rule G15 is a penalty for intentionally putting discs out of play
