Running 2013 DVD Kit for win7 64bit?
Hey guys. We're pumped for kickoff and trying to get everything set up, but I have a huge issue:
Our little white laptop's screen is 100% broken. The laptop itself works, but we have to use a separate screen for the output. I have my own laptop that we could use, but it is windows 7 64bit (as opposed to 32bit like the white FRC laptop) and LabVIEW, the Drive Station, and FRC Tools will not install due to the different OS type. Has anyone had any luck installing this year's CD's programs on a 64bit system? This would really really help And a few questions: -Are we allowed to use laptops other than the white laptop? Can I use my own? -If so, do I need a separate log-in or can I use my normal profile? -If not, are we allowed to use a separate SCREEN OUTPUT connected to the white laptop? Thanks for all the help. Really appreciate it! EDIT: SOLVED! After uninstalling the NI stuff (when uninstalling apps, look for "National Instruments"), THEN trying to run auto-run, it worked perfectly fine. Also for anyone having trouble with the serial code, use: S14X86763 Lastly for my questions above: -yes you can you another computer -you do NOT need a separate login Last edited by ctccromer : 05-01-2013 at 20:09. |
