2013 Pyramid Corner Gussets - Any interest in purchasing?

I might be manufacturing some corner gussets for the pyramids, in both the official and team versions. I want to gauge the interest if other teams would be interested in purchasing these. Thanks.

Wood "team" version would be baltic birch cut on CNC router - $30+ shipping for the set of 16
Steel ones would be the official welded version, cut on laser, waterjet, or plasma (price and mfg method TBD).

$30 for wood. Steel, not sure quite yet, I'll let you know. Guessing the price would be about the same.

We want steel versions as well. Any one do a rough cost/BOM for a full official pyramid?

Re: 2013 Pyramid Corner Gussets - Any interest in purchasing?

Glad to hear someone stepping up to offer this, it's a great thing to mass produce, but a pain to do in a small run.

If they can be ready inside of three weeks Team 296 would take a set, maybe two (we hold a scrimmage).

I'd be up for a set of steel to build one half of the pyramid

Re: 2013 Pyramid Corner Gussets - Any interest in purchasing?

Probably interested in a steel set, and possibly two, as we are working to do a week 0 scrimmage. Need to confirm with Mechanicals.

Scott.

Definitely interested in pricing, considering a "half pyramid", one side, steel (6-8 parts total)

I believe the gentleman who is working on this for us mentioned something about "Not going to exceed $400 max." I was a bit shocked, but he did the research, not me, so I can only tell you what I heard.

My ballpark estimate for pipe alone was about 175 for the team model. It is gonna be one heavy and expensive field element.
