No hanging used. I used the dumper robot. I finally broke 100

Strategy for walking tall:
First score 4 in auto top.
Then Score all 6 color frisbees.
Finally keep scoring the white discs on top level.

In this version of the game, to climb a side of the pyramid, the robot needs to be backed up to the bar and almost perfectly centered. In our first update to the game, we will be making it where you don't have to line up perfectly to climb.

The Walking tall robot seems to be pretty good
but there is no way a robot like that could be legal, right?
The high goal is around 104 inches high and if your robot is limited to 84 inches you cannot dump frisbees into it like in the simulator?
Am I missing something?

I think if you didn't find it useful last year then you probably won't find it useful this year.

Our team on the other hand proved through playing Catalyst 2012 that a middle basket scorer could compete with above average top basket scorers, which, as you saw on the field, proved correct.

Having said that, I believe this year's version is less useful, but your mileage may vary.

After staying up and playing Catalyst until 2am with just my keyboard on my laptop, I posted a score of 84. However, I've already asked to barrow an Attack 3 joystick for tonight.

How do you lower the shooter on Walking Tall after you raise it? Both are supposedly bound to Left Ctrl but pressing it again does nothing.

This had to be my 30th or 40th attempt. I average just over 100.

As for Walk Tall's keyboard controls, I don't know them. I still use the same wired Xbox controller I used to play 5th Gear 2010 when it first came out, lol.

Strategy is pretty simple: 4 discs in auto, usually one run of discs in teleop before going for the colored discs. If you do it efficiently enough that you're out of discs just before the 30 second mark (if you're going for high score, you should), then you go get the last two red disks. The last 30 seconds is really where high speed scoring is at.

try to beat this 6 discs in auto., 4 discs in 5pts, and the rest just white in 3pts.
(if you run to feeder station for 2 red, you get more pts. by getting 4 white.)

...and do the bonus still count in the real game if the HP knock your red/blue frisbees out?

(only 4 bonus disks, I found out 4 bonus disks and 4 regular disks > 6 bonus discs)

Started in Blue 2, shot 4 in auto. Then ran shooting cycles from the discs in the center of the field. Shot from inside the pyramid lined up with the blue line at the back of the structure. As for end game, you should be running your last shooting cycle by about 40-35 seconds to go, but shoot them with the back of the robot halfway through the shadow of the pyramid, then just keep grabbing two from the human player thrown discs and shooting them from there. All discs go into the high goal.
