Pneumatics Replacements

Hey guys, some people on my team have been thinking of using Vacuum systems instead of Pneumatics. Are we allowed to do this?

Re: Pneumatics Replacements

You could use both if you wanted to. Vacuum systems are not considered pneumatic devices for the purposes of the rules, per R78. There is no rule that specifically disallows vacuum generators.

Note that whatever you use to generate the vacuum must still comply with all other rules. In particular, if you want to use a motorized vacuum pump, you'll have to use one of the allowed motors.
