296 put together the wide version of the kitbot (although we did modify it quite a lot). If you're doing the wide build, then you have to cut two of the brass spacers included (check the video/manual for the actual dimensions, but I think it was something like 1.62").

Another thing: There is a discrepancy in the assembly steps.
On the video, the short belt goes on the pulley with spacers on either side.

In the assembly guide in the KoP, they tell you to put the long belt on the puller with spacers on either side (basically the spacers on the front and rear are mixed up).

We found it easier to go with what they tell you to do in the assembly video. The belt is still a little tricky to get on, you have to kind of wiggle it and aim in at a downward angle. Either way, good luck!
