Aquino emulating a FirstToutch I/O?
Our team is short on cash this year and i was wondering if anyone has tried to emulate the functionality of a first touch I/O module? or has any data on the communication between the first touch and the computer?

How much emulation do you want? There are several inexpensive solutions for supporting discrete switches and knobs. If you need the accelerometer or quadrature inputs, or the output pins, then I don't know of an adequate replacement for the FirstTouch.

its easy (enough) to emulate a joystick but I wanted the output functionality of the First Toutch
