Re: Will OPR be valid for this year?

OPR has always been a perfectly valid statistic to use when looking for your first alliance partner or gauging the relative difficulty of some qualification matches. Some teams will always swear by it while others cast it aside. It won't be weird like it was in 2012 because there is no part of the game that gives you an advantage in rankings that isn't scoring as many points as possible in all aspects of the game.

i.e. there will be no Top 5 Qualification Teams in the bottom 5 OPR, unless you're at some weird event where everyone scores 80ish points and your bell curve looks like a frowny-face.
