Which pins on the digital sidecar do the wires from the pressure sensor get connected to? (We are plugging into DIO 1) Does it matter (-), (+) wise at all? Thanks!
Allons-y! |

Re: Wiring Pressure Sensor into Digital Sidecar
The DSC has "pull-up" resistors on all of the GPIOs. This means that, when nothing is connected to them, they will "act" as though they are connected to +5V.
This means you need to hook the pressure sensor up to the GND and SIG pins, such that when the switch closes it will pull the SIG down to 0V. |

Re: Wiring Pressure Sensor into Digital Sidecar
Something is wrong. Do you have the datasheet for the sensor, so we can take a look at it?

Re: Wiring Pressure Sensor into Digital Sidecar
I was looking over this thread and i wanted to confirm something as I myself am wiring this pressure switch.
The pressure switch has the black and signal wires connected to it and the digital input has black and signal plugged into it and the red PWM wire is just capped off. |
