Axis Camera Speed Control

We are planning on using the Axis M1011 to do vision processing.

How would we write code in LabView to

1. Take the feed from the camera and line up to robot to shoot.

2. Then adjust the shooter voltage to change speed according to the distance from the goal.

Also it is possible to be able to tell the code to run these adjustments and then stop them to go get more frisbees?

Thanks

Re: Axis Camera Speed Control

Use the Rectangular Target - 2013 vision example project. It contains step-by-step directions for adding it to an existing robot project. When you set it up appropriately, it tells you where the center of the target is, right or left of and above or below the center of the video image.

Then you can use the left-right information to decide how much to rotate the robot, and the up-down information to compute how far away the target is.

Re: Axis Camera Speed Control

As I posted in another post, I've been working on a custom vision tracking .vi based on the example code provided. It's designed to work with the dashboard. It's pretty simple, but if you need help, PM me.
