Re: Labview Activation

Go to Start -> All Programs and look under National Instruments for the NI License Manager to activate your products.

The license code you should be using is S14X86763

Most of the control system documentation has moved to a website called screenstepslive. https://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/3120

In particular, you need Installing LabVIEW for FRC 2013

Where did you find this code?

The packet I have lists S/N M77X14459 as the serial number on the back, which doesn't work in the activation wizard (although it sends me an email saying it worked, with an activation code which doesn't work).

The SN you listed is correct, it just worked for me.

Re: Labview Activation

Due to a manufacturing mistake, the DVDs sleeves were given unique serial numbers rather than a common one. The licensing was setup for a single serial number, not a long list.

The correct SX serial number was printed on a card that was in the packet, but it is in a rather small font. These were built overseas and by the time it was discovered there was not time to correct it.

It has been a bit support issue, as you can imagine.

Re: Labview Activation

Here's what the card Greg mentioned with the correct FRC activation code, included in everyone's LabVIEW envelope, looks like.
See the tiny print in the lower left hand corner.

Re: Labview Activation

The correct number is also in the detailed step-by-step instructions for installing LabVIEW.
