I brought this idea up with my students, but they concluded that we wouldn't have room with our climber... but MAN did I want to do this.

The whole assembly is only a couple inches tall. But does almost takes up the whole foot print our chassis. We still have plenty of room for our climber.

Very interesting Idea and unique from what I have seen at this moment. If your robot heats up you can cool it down just run it faster XD. Jokingly Love the Idea!.

Neat idea, we had a similar plan but figured out another way to do it that did not require a motor, which kind of has to stop at the right place. Also our new design is a bit narrower.
I like yours, you figured out how to make it easier than we had....and it looks like it should work fine! |
