LabView version a year behind?

Did anyone else get the 2012 version of LabView instead of the 2013 version this year? It seems that we always get the version from the previous year (we got 2011 last year). How can we fix this? If this is not a mistake, then why are there tutorials for the 2013 (FRC) version if we cannot get it?

Also, what are some good LabView tutorials? Is there a good video series?

National Instruments has an annual customer conference that is in August, and that is when new versions of LabVIEW are traditionally released. So, LV 2012 is less than six months old, and is in fact the newest version of LV in the wild -- until August 2013 presumably.

There are many tutorials such as frcmastery.com and there are some on the ni site.

If you've properly installed LabVIEW and the updates (per http://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/...w-for-frc-2013), your getting started window will say LabVIEW FRC 2013 (which is built upon LabVIEW 2012). If it just says LabVIEW 2012, you haven't installed the updates.

As Greg said, LabVIEW 2012f3 is the latest LabVIEW in the wild.
