If you open up the "Getting Started" page in the ribbon of Autodesk, there is a tutorial button. This will take to to a very complete list of tutorials, that I used when starting out.
IMO the built by design tutorials helped me very much.
Also, you can download Autodesk Sketchbook (sorry, I do not have access to the link right now), I know because we were able to do this right before build season. So unless they changed that since December, I think it is just on the downloads page, next to inventor and fusion.

Probably planning on milling the bumpers out of solid pool noodle stock, too. Ever wonder how they drill that hole down the middle of pool noodles? ;) - Bill_B [more]
