Re: Classmate not connecting to the cRIO

Give us something to start with. What IP address are you successfully pinging? What IP address does your Classmate have? Are you trying to connect using wired or wireless networking? What exactly do you mean by "will not connect"?

Re: Classmate not connecting to the cRIO

We are connect via a crossover cable (568 A/B) from the ethernet on the classlink and port 1 on the cRIO. The cRIO IP is 10.8.67.2. We can ping this address so there is network conectivity. However, the classmate (IP 10.8.67.5) drivers station will not connect, that is we get a message that it cannot find the cRIO.
We have swaped both the cRIO and the computer with no change.

Re: Classmate not connecting to the cRIO

On the Driver Station there are status lights on the left side:
  • Communication
  • Robot Code
  • Joysticks
What are the colors displayed for these?

On the Diagnostics tab what do the ping lights show?

Have you downloaded your own code to the cRIO?
Or have you just used the cRIO Imaging Tool on the cRIO so far?

I don't know what would be giving you that message. When does it appear? Exactly what does it say, and what else is displayed along with it? Can you attach a picture of it?
