Shooter PROBLEM
HIIII
i dont know wats going in on with our shooter.We tried everything and we show some video and see other shooter but we cant really figure it out wats wrong with our shooter its shoots half way with two pneumatic tires... and we have really big problem we spent about 5 hours on it and dont know wats wrong...can u please help us...

You might want to describe more of what the issue your having is. Also it's helpful to know what type of motor is driving your shooter along with the possible gear ratio.

Pictures and youtube videos of the problem can help.
Also measure the distance between the wheel and the rail that guides the frisbee. Have you adjusted it to be less than the frisbee diameter?

If you could post a picture of the shooter, we might be able to help. A video could help a lot more. What do you mean when you say "half way"? There are a lot of small adjustments you can make that have a large impact in a shooters performance. One main one is to increase the compression between the disc and the wheel(s). Second, make sure your shooter wheel RPMs aren't too high (ie. directly powered to the battery). The problem with this is that the wheels are moving too fast to connect with the disc. Try slowing them down. However, as said before, it's very difficult to diagnose a problem with a lack of details.

In a more general sense, whenever you are prototyping you want to do the following:
1) what is the performance you are looking for? (i.e. what criteria do you have for "success") example: the frisbee goes 30 ft horizontal and lands in the same spot every time +/- half a frisbee length (hint: the second example criterion is very important) 2) list all the variables you can think of that should have an effect on your performance goals example: wheel speed, wheel size, wheel tread, etc...(hint: the list is much longer than this) 3) make a prototype and test its performance vs. your goals 4) change ONE variable, and test again (sometimes it might not be worth the time/effort to only change one, but do your best)
