Changing Font size in Inventor?

To give to our welding sponsor, I am making a standard.idw technical drawing for each frame element. When printed, the text size is almost too small to read. Is there any way I can adjust it throughout the whole drawing, without having to change the font size of each dimension individually?

Thanks!

Re: Changing Font size in Inventor?

Did you draw (for lack of a better term) each letter, or did you use the text command? If you used the text command it is as simple as going into your sketch and editing the size. If you "drew" them individually I am not sure I know how to help you.

These are the dimensions that inventor put in when I used dimension tool. I can change font size for free-form labels, but not for measurements that Inventor put in.

In that case, can you just edit those original dimensions to something of your liking?

Re: Changing Font size in Inventor?

I am not sure what the dimension text is derived from. Is it the sketch dimension or a dimension placed in the IDW environment? If you can send me the IPT and IDW file I will have a look.

Re: Changing Font size in Inventor?

One thing that I noticed on my machine at least is that you have to set the page size right. My printer will scale print jobs to print on the page (8.5*11) so you have to make sure that the page in your IPT or IDW is set to whats loaded in the printer.

I played around with other ways to change the font size, but I didn't come up with any.

Re: Changing Font size in Inventor?

Easiest way to fix this is when you're in the .idw put down your first line of text, right click on it and then go to edit text style. From here you can change the size and font of the text. This will update all added text after this. (I'm working in inventor 2013)
