[FTC]: Third Row versus Defense

Has anybody seen a robot that successful is able to score on the third row even with stiff defense? The flexible arms we have seen are easily defended with stiff defense.

Re: [FTC]: Third Row versus Defense

We had a bit of defense on some matches with rarely getting the top three rows. When it's two versus one, it makes it quite difficult. One against one is fine if you have the factors outlined below on your robot.

The factors on our robot that gave us a bit of an edge was more surface area on the ground to create more friction and our grabber design was flexible enough to dispense at an angle.

It all depends on your robot's traction to the ground and flexibility of your robot's dispensing contraption. Also the opponent's robot mass, traction, and power.
