How to UDP
My team (2856) wants to send process aiming data on the driverstation/dashboard and then send it back to the robot's cRIO (which runs java) using UDP. Everything I see involving this in threads seems to imply that UDP is a common way of sending data back to the cRIO; however, there doesn't seem to be anything that really says how to do this. I tried using the javadoc to learn, but when I did what it says to do I get a "'datagram' protocol not found" exception. Does anybody know how to UDP in java?

Re: How to UDP
As you've found, UDP is not supported in the squawk JVM that we use. You can either use TCP, or use NetworkTables.

Re: How to UDP
Ok, thanks. I looked into Network Tables; do you know if that is supported by labview? I haven't seen anything on that...

Re: How to UDP
NetworkTables support was added this year to LabVIEW.
