Need a programmer

Team 61 is looking for someone that would like to program our robot for us. We are located in Upton MA.

We have always used the default program for the past 9 years.

Our robot is done but would like someone to help us program this robot.

you can call 508-529-7758 x3303 if you know of anybody.

In previous years the programming aspect of FIRST seemed to have a "do as much as you want" attitude, but I think that they are getting more and more serious about it. This year every team should have a programmer. There is plenty of documentation on the Parallax and innovationfirst websites for you guys to get started and I'd be happy to help out as well if you want to send people down to Hartford CT

Your team doesn't have any programmers? That's too bad. Team Spam has the opposite problem. We have too many programmers. Thats why some people (i.e. me) aren't on the porgramming team.

But surely you could get someone on your team who likes programming...

i've been doing the programming for 506 for the past two years (and I still do most of it this year even though i'm at college 400 miles away). PM me what you need and i'll write up something that should do the trick with a little tweaking. I comment my code heavily so it should be easy enough to understand what to change to get a desired result. Right now I have everything from dead reckoning to box finding to line tracking. I also have a few "special codes" for some little tricks i'm not sure if were using yet. Just let me know whats hooked up where, how you want to control it, and what you want it to do and i'll help as much as I can.

The arms that come out are to block robots from coming up on to the ramp and its also used to help push the boxes around... If you have any other questions feel free to ask..
