Jaguar Problems

My team and I are starting to assemble our electrical stuff and one of our jaguars isn't working. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can fix it?

Re: Jaguar Problems

Check the firmware version, or just upgrade to the latest v. 107.

We thought we would be home free with the new Jaguars, with the FIRST logo on the top. It turns out that these had shipped with the non-FIRST firmware (8161 if I recall correctly). Without the correct FIRST-specific firmware, the Jaguar will appear unresponsive to commands sent through the various FIRST programming frameworks.

We are using a 2CAN, so it was trivial to verify the firmware levels, and flash to the correct version. If you are using the black Jaguar, serial to CAN bridge method, you will have to use BDC-Com to flash your Jaguars.
