Great belt vendor

I didn't see a vendor section. I received fantastic customer support from a company called V-belt Global Supply. I found them online. vbeltsupply.com is the website.
They called me to tell me my online order was ready and called me when it was shipping. I only ordered two 1100mm HTD compatible belts. I ordered 3 day shipping and got them in 2 days. (I'm in Milwaukee.) And they were pretty cheap.

Just want to throw these guys a bone for their outstanding customer service.

Re: Great belt vendor

If we are talking about favorite belt manufacturers, our team buys our treads (actually conveyor belts) from Brecoflex. They are custom so they take a few Weeks but we had excellent customer service from them as well.

Nate,

Thanks for sharing. A few questions:

- Did the HTD-compatible belts you received have rounded tooth profiles or trapezoidal tooth profiles?

( I've had problems from some other suppliers with ordering HTD belts that were supposed to have Gates-style rounded tooth profiles, but instead had trapezoidal tooth profiles. The rounded tooth profile generally has less torque capacity.)

- How much were shipping costs for your order of two belts?

- Did you ask about additional discounting for FIRST Robotics teams?

Thanks!

Re: Great belt vendor

They were true HTD belts. I'll need to get the brand tonight. I don't believe they are domestic made. Quality looks very good though.

1100-5M-15 Synchronous Timing Belt tim3&111 2 $ 27.60
Subtotal $ 27.60
Shipping & Handling $ 16.70 this shipping was 3 day. I received in 2 days.

I thought this was acceptable. I did however have my company name on the order. We are a global company so that may have helped.
I did not ask for a discount for FIRST.
