cRIO Imaging Error

I am currently trying to image my teams cRIO using the imaging tool but an error appears every time saying- "cannot assign IP adress- make sure that the reset ip switch is off". The switch is off, my computers ip is set correctly. I heard that you are supposed to do this using a crossover cable (I was using ethernet) so I tried to use a wireless bridge- same error. Any ideas?

Re: cRIO Imaging Error

It's not recommended to image over wifi. I believe you should just use ethernet and not a crossover. Double check the documentation at the link below for correct IP settings. There is a virtual switch for IP reset for 4 slot or a physical switch for 8 slot cRio.
