Rookie team pneumatics help!

Hi, this is FRC team 4592 and looking for some urgent help with solenoid/compressor programming with pneumatics. We would like a simple program that would allow our controller to turn the cylinders on and off to get an input/output air action along with the compressor. As of now we have no clue where to start! We have our robot built but this needs to be done. Also, i heard it can be as simple as one line of coding. Please help, thanks!
