DS error: 1055 occurred at Invoke Node in Vision Processing.vi

I've been working on vision processing, and this error shows up in the DS's Diagnostics page: "1055 occurred at Invoke Node in Vision Processing.vi->Robot Main.vi".
Anyone have any advice for that? I'm also getting "Object reference is invalid", and good old "RobotDrive is not running fast enough".

The rest of the message should tell you more info about where the error is coming from. It is most likely vision, but could be camera related. Once you know the source of the error, it is most likely because of a missing or miss-wired input or something you failed to open. Once you start to get errors, it is common to get the ... isn't running fast enough message as well. Fix the others first.

There was no context for the object reference is invalid message, but I'll look through Vision again.
I was mostly wondering what an "Invoke Node" was, though.

Re: DS error: 1055 occurred at Invoke Node in Vision Processing.vi

Ah. It was there all the time. That is the portion of the message I was asking for. It is telling you that the error occurred at an Invoke Node within the Vision Processing.vi that was called from Robot Main.vi. The Invoke Node is used to run a published method on a control or object in LV. In this case, it is used to retrieve click information from the picture control and is used for interactive calibration.

It is the box towards the bottom of the while loop labeled Original Image and Get Last Event.

If you do not need the click info, you can delete the Invoke Node. If you want to keep it, we need to figure out why it is returning the error.

Re: DS error: 1055 occurred at Invoke Node in Vision Processing.vi

I don't really need to have it, and it's nice to know what the problem was. It'd be nice if integrating the Vision example didn't actively break things though.

Thanks!

Edit: I found the Invoke Node, but it looks like deleting it would cause bad things. Would deselecting the "View" button work as well?

If you delete the node and the Conversion code, I believe you should be good to go.
