Communication Issue

Hi everyone, programmer from team 4377 here. We have an communication issue between the crio and the classmate. We are able to edit and save the code fine, and we can build the code as well. However, upon attempting to run the code as startup, or run it at all, communciations essentially cease. The communications light on the DS is still green, but we've waited nearly half an hour with no progress made in the deployment. Any help would be great
