Re: Team 3038 Full Court Shooter and Climber

I don't mean to be a downer, but I didn't see chains on those goals. Do you expect to be as successful with a complete competition goal?

If you come to a FRC event to see a robot competition, you are missing the point.

They had chains on the other side. I dont know if they were legal and we are not to worried about it. We have a very consistent climber which is a plus.

Re: Team 3038 Full Court Shooter and Climber

A little bit of background:

This footage was shot at our week zero. Unfortunately we don't have the money to build a competition-grade field every year (though it's possible that will be coming in the future). I feel a little bit bad that we didn't put chains in the goals, as I have a feeling that that gave a lot of teams the impression that they would be scoring a lot more than they might actually be, similar to bridges last year.

That being said, I have no doubt it was beneficial for all involved to get a chance to try out their robots on a field, even if it wasn't regulation.

Having seen this robot in action, it was pretty solid, especially compared to some of the others at the event. Everyone needed some tuning which is what this was for

We did this to keep the mounting brace we have on our wheel from warping while spinning.

Thank you for the compliments on our robot. We do need some tuning done to our robot. Also Blue Twilight has done an amazing job every year hosting the preship competition. I think I can say we played the most matches at Blue Twilight Event.
