Help with compressor
When we were testing our robot we depressurized and restarted our robot the compressor pressurized the system without being connected to the Driver Station.
Is this bad? Is it Legal? |

Re: Help with compressor
Is it bad?
Well, do you want ANYTHING on your robot moving at any time, except under your control? Is it illegal? Likely... the relay that activates the compressor should be controlled by the cRio. The cRio should have it's outputs "dead" until it achieves communication with the driver station. Jason |

Re: Help with compressor
Your relay must of supplied power somehow to the compressor while the robot was disabled.
Are you sure it was disabled? When the robot is disabled, all power and data flow stops. |

Re: Help with compressor
Have you seen this thread? It references some rules that might help explain how the compressor is supposed to be hooked up...
