Installing Labview without CD
Is there a way to install LabView without the KoP CD? I have last year's LabView installed on a laptop, we need more programmers in the loop right now, and our CD is "missing".
Can I just update last year's version? |

Re: Installing Labview without CD
Last year's LabVIEW won't work. It's a different version.
You'll need the KOP DVD someway, somehow. |

Re: Installing Labview without CD
A direct answer is, yes it is possible to install without the DVD, but it requires the DVD to start off. You would have to copy the content of the DVD to a flash drive and install from there. I was able to successfully do it this way this year.
On my home system: i5 proc. running at 4.1Ghz, 32 GB RAM (16GB for the system and 16GB RAM Drive), 180 GB SSD. I had the DVD copy on a Patriot USB 2 drive inserted into a USB 3 port. The install only took 15 minutes. To say it made me smile is an understatement. |
