250 count encoder wheel

Over the years we have collected a few of these encoders, but we've scratched the encoder wheel thus rendering it useless. We'd like to order them separate from the encoder it self, is this possible?

Re: 250 count encoder wheel

The US Digital page makes no mention of ordering the optical wheel separately, but if you contacted them it might be available.

Re: 250 count encoder wheel

I talked to US Digital about this. Yes, you can get just the code wheel seperately.

I asked about the 360 CPR wheel. The PN for the 360 wheel is HUBDISK-E4P-360-250, and they quoted 15.40 each (qty 1-4).

Note that you must get the same CPR code wheel as electronics, so you can't just upgrade to a higher CPR.

You can't place the order online, but you can call them at 800-736-0194.

I have not actually placed our order yet, since we're trying to combine the order with a few different encoders. Let me know how it goes for you.

Re: 250 count encoder wheel

As Joe mentioned you can order just the disks for around $10 a disk if I remember correctly. I ordered a bunch last year, (the 360 count, but im sure you can get 250's) USDigital is a great company to work with.
