I, Marissa Marincovich, am a college student and a legal adult. When this picture was taken, I was in fourth grade. FIRST was founded three years before I was born. Feel old yet?

This picture was planned for use in the proposed planned book "FIRST Robot Building For Dummies".

Sadly for the publication planners (and happily for the rest of us), it was subsequently determined that there was no market for the book. The median IQ for FIRST participants greatly exceeded the "dummy" level.

It is alleged that efforts were then directed at "FIRST Game Design for Dummies". No word on the market for that proposal...
