I've (only) been to 5 regionals, but BAE this year was definitely my favourite.
The level of competition was amazing. Eliminations were extremely competitive. I really felt that every alliance had a shot at winning. There was never a match where I could predict the outcome before it happened. Those semi finals were especially intense!
I want to thank our alliance members, 4124 and 3609. There's no way we could have won the regional without such an awesome alliance.
Even more importantly, I want to thank every single person there for making BAE the awesome regional it was. The spirit, atmosphere, and level of competition were just incredible!
While at kickoff I asked Woodie if there were any concerns about missed shots at the center goal hitting the operators or the controls. He handed me a ball and told me to throw it at him as hard as I could... How many times does an opportunity like that come up? - Barry Bonzack [more]
