30 meter distance sensor (not for FRC)

does anybody know of any distance sensors (IR or laser-needs to be semi-straight) that has a sensing distance up to 30 meters, that does not need to be FRC legal, its for an outside project

i've exhausted all research options trying to find an inexpensive long distance one, so i've decided to change my approach. The ultrasound in KOP is both ultrasonic (not straight), as well as way too short a range. Thanks for the help anyways
