Our bot was rolling by the end of week two and driving by last thursday. We used one of the aluminum tube and other 1/4" aluminum sheets. I hope we can stay under weight though, our frame and drivetrain weigh about 60 pounds.
It is pretty sweet, we also got our full size ramp on wednesday so we got a chance to drive over a couple times. One of our joysticks calibration won't work so we have to get FIRST to get us a new one. We start work on our arms tommorow. This has been our 4th or 5th idea for our arms and I hope we stick with it. GO RAIDERS! |
